What is your favourite part about working at The Juicery Co?

My grandpa was diagnosed with terminal cancer and decided to take a nutritious
approach to help heal his body. After seeing the effect of nutrients on his overall health it made me passionate about juicing as a means for optimal nutrition. My favourite part about working at The Juicery Co. is sharing this passion, seeing the effect juicing has on others and working with family of course!

Where did you grow up?

I grew up all over the North Shore from Deep Cove to West Vancouver. My family
moved around a lot, I attended five schools between North and West Vancouver so I was able to meet a lot of great people. Although I now live in Port Moody, I still consider North Vancouver my home.

Which is your favourite juice at The Juicery Co?

How can I choose just one?! My favourite juice changes all the time. At the moment, I
love The Pacific. Although there is a whole bunch of black kale per bottle, the apple lime and mint make it nice and sweet making it the perfect green juice. My runner up would have to be the Lemon-Aid. I find myself drinking The Pacific and Lemon-Aid daily. Not only am I full of energy after these juices, I feel amazing.

How do you stay healthy and fit? Other than juice of course!

If you haven’t been to Port Moody yet you need to make a day trip of it! There are so
many amazing walks and hikes in the area. My favourite is the board walk right outside my apartment, it’s called the Shoreline Trail and it ends at Rocky Point Park which has amazing ice-cream for when you have a sweet tooth.

If you could do one thing to change the world, what would it be?

I am really passionate about education. If I could do one thing to change the world I
would make sure everyone had access to free education!

What makes you most excited about opening a store in Edgemont?

I lived in Edgemont for years and love the community! It’s so lively and there is
always something happening in the neighborhood. My favourite event in Edgemont
Village is the outdoor movies and concerts they do in the summer. I can’t wait to join the community and see what fun events I can get involved in!

What is your ideal Friday night?

My ideal Friday night would have to be exploring new restaurants in Vancouver and
going for drinks with The Juicery girls. I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by such a great group of like minded people at work. On Friday’s when we don’t go out, I’m happiest hanging with my boyfriend with a bottle of wine and a good movie.

Why do you think using organic produce is so important?

It’s amazing to see the large movement towards organic produce right now. I think it’s so important because it’s free of GMO’s and unwanted pesticides. It’s nice to know that when you get our juice, you aren’t getting a single harmful chemical in it.
